About Brinzolamide A carbonic anhydrase(||) enzyme inhibitor, Antiglaucoma. Mechanism of Action of Brinzolamide Brinzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase enzyme inhibitor.It inhibits the enzyme present in the ciliary body epithelium of eye and reduces the formation of bicarbonate ions. which in turn reduces fluid transport and thus intraocular pressure. Indications for Brinzolamide Open angle glaucoma Typical Dosage for Brinzolamide Apply 1 drop into the affected eye 3 times daily.
