Dalacin C is used to treat a range of bacterial infections caused by bacteria sensitive to clindamycin, the active ingredient in the drug. It is commonly used to treat upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, and some types of dental infections.
Dalacin C is also used in cases of abdominal cavity infections and sometimes as part of preventive treatment before surgical operations to reduce the risk of infection.
